Terms of Service — Olly English Virtual

Olly English Virtual (“OEV”) is the live-tutoring side of the Olly English platform. These terms cover tutoring-specific features and supplement the platform-wide Olly English Terms of Service, which also apply to your use of OEV.

Acceptance

By creating an account on Olly English Virtual, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. You must be at least 13 years old; users under 18 need parental or guardian consent.

User responsibilities

• Provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure
• Treat teachers, students, and staff with respect in lessons and messages
• Do not send abusive, illegal, or inappropriate content through platform messaging — attachments are moderated and violations may lead to suspension
• Honour booked sessions or cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice
• Do not record or redistribute lesson content without permission

Payments & refunds

Lesson payments are processed securely via Stripe; we never store card numbers. Missed sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged. Refunds are issued in line with the cancellation policy communicated at booking, and nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Teachers & content

Lesson materials, homework banks, and interactive lesson players are the intellectual property of Olly English or its licensors and are provided for your personal learning only.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse other users, or attempt to circumvent platform safeguards. You may delete your account at any time; your data is then handled per the OEV Privacy Policy.
