الإجابة السريعة

نستخدم have got مع I وyou وwe وthey. ونستخدم has got مع he وshe وit. نقول I have got a bike وshe has got a cat. الفاعل يحدد الصيغة دائماً.

القاعدة

تدل have got على امتلاك شيء: دراجة، حيوان أليف، أخ، بيت. وهي تعمل كزوج. تأتي I وyou وwe وthey مع have got. ويأتي he وshe وit مع has got. وتعني My mum أنها she، لذلك تأخذ has got. ويعني My brothers أنهم they، لذلك يأخذون have got. وتعني The dog أنها it، لذلك تأخذ has got.

وفي النفي نضيف not بعد have أو has: I have not got a car. She has not got a dog. وفي السؤال تتقدم have أو has: Have you got a pen؟ Has she got a cat؟ وتكرر الإجابات القصيرة الفعل نفسه: Yes, I have. No, she has not.
