Usa have got con I, you, we y they. Usa has got con he, she e it. Se dice I have got a bike y she has got a cat. El sujeto siempre decide la forma.

Have got and has got
I, you, we and they take have got; he, she and it take has got.
Have got muestra que tienes o posees algo: una bici, una mascota, un hermano, una casa. Funciona en pareja. I, you, we y they van con have got. He, she e it van con has got. My mum significa she, así que lleva has got. My brothers significa they, así que lleva have got. The dog significa it, así que lleva has got.
En la negativa se añade not después de have o has: I have not got a car. She has not got a dog. En la pregunta have o has van primero: Have you got a pen? Has she got a cat? Las respuestas cortas repiten el mismo verbo: Yes, I have. No, she has not.
