Her edat farklı bir konumu anlatır. Next to yanında, çok yakında demektir: The lamp is next to the sofa. Under altında demektir: The cat is under the table. In front of önünde, karşısında demektir: The car is in front of the house. Behind arkasında demektir: The garden is behind the house. Between iki şeyin ortasında demektir — her zaman tek değil iki şey ister: The pen is between two books.
