Quantifiers tell us how much or how many of something there is. The key question is always: is the noun countable (chairs, friends, ideas) or uncountable (water, money, time)? The answer decides which quantifier to use. 🎯
| Quantifier | Used with | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| much | Uncountable nouns | A large amount (negative/question) | I do not have much time. ✅ |
| many | Countable nouns (plural) | A large number (negative/question) | There are not many seats left. ✅ |
| little | Uncountable nouns | A small amount (not enough) | There is very little water left. ✅ |
| few | Countable nouns (plural) | A small number (not enough) | Only a few people came to the event. ✅ |
