Para hacer una pregunta de sí/no, mueve el verbo auxiliar (do, does, did, is, are, was, were, have, has, will, can, should) al principio:
| Afirmación | Pregunta de sí/no |
|---|---|
| She is a doctor. | Is she a doctor? ✅ |
| They have finished. | Have they finished? ✅ |
| He works here. | Does he work here? ✅ |
| She called you. | Did she call you? ✅ |
Para preguntas con wh-, pon la palabra interrogativa primero, luego invierte como de costumbre:
| Palabra interrogativa | Uso | Ejemplo |
|---|---|---|
| What | Cosas / acciones | What did you eat for lunch? ✅ |
| Where | Lugar | Where do you live? ✅ |
| When | Tiempo | When did they arrive? ✅ |
| Who | Persona | Who did you speak to? ✅ |
| Why | Razón | Why are you late? ✅ |
| How | Modo / grado | How do you feel? ✅ |
| Which | Elección entre opciones | Which bus do I take? ✅ |
| How much / How many | Cantidad | How much does it cost? ✅ |
Las preguntas en inglés siguen este orden: Palabra interrogativa + auxiliar + sujeto + verbo principal
| ✅ Correcto | ❌ Incorrecto |
|---|---|
| Where do you live? | Where you live? |
| What did she say? | What she said? |
| Does he speak French? | He speaks French? |
| How long have you lived here? | How long you have lived here? |
